Такой вот ремонт у нас вышел. Хороший пример того, что ремонтируют и реставрируют книги не только с музейной/аукционной ценностью, а зачастую то, что дорого сердцу. Заказчице книгу подарил любимый дедушка, поэтому хотелось сохранить именно ее.
И что важно - хотелось сохранить родную сторонку, чтобы была видна «жизнь» книги, а не полностью заменить обложку, взятую у донора.
Корешок и задняя сторонка были утеряны, а сама книга пострадала от влаги. Так что все подняла-допечатала-дорастила-перешила и сделала новый переплет. Долго думала, как сделать так, чтобы изображение не стерлось с бумаги при эксплуатации - решила в итоге покрыть тонким слоем акрила в тон, ибо полимер.
