• За 2017-2021 годы национальный пассажирский железнодорожный перевозчик приобрел почти 2,7 тыс. вагонов. Также ФПК за последние 5 лет вложила 44,2 млрд руб. на проведение капитально-восстановительного ремонта с продлением срока службы 2 тыс. вагонов и капитального ремонта 494 вагонов.
• В ближайшие 3 года ФПК планирует направить на закупку новых вагонов 51,9 млрд руб., на модернизацию парка – 17,1 млрд руб. Сегодня ФПК закупает вагоны нового поколения - одноэтажные «Вагоны-2019» и двухэтажные «Вагоны-2020» - по долгосрочному контракту с Тверским вагоностроительным заводом (входит в «Трансмашхолдинг»), а в работе также находится проект «Вагона-2023».
