Детские сады в Качканаре уничтожают под предлогом нехватки детей. По словам местного Управления образования, рождаемость в городе резко падает, а загруженность детских садов составляет от 40% до 80%.

Но со слов родителей, основная причина закрытия детских садов — создание общежитий для приезжих работников промышленных предприятий города.
