По данным прокуратуры, в августе 2022 года Галка передавала своему сыну, служащему в ВСУ, сведения о дислокации российских военных и техники. Ей помогал племянник Виктор. Для связи использовали мессенджер, но переписку перехватили сотрудники УФСБ.
Суд назначил Галке срок в колонии общего режима, а Мешнякову — в колонии строгого режима.

Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram.
