Обнаружили вирус, вызывающий опасное заболевание у крабов-стригунов Бэрда (Chionoecetes bairdi), специалисты Национального научного центра морской биологии им. А. Жирмунского ДВО РАН и КамчатВНИРО.
«Новый вирус, получивший обозначение CbBV, вызывает у ракообразных синдром молочной гемолимфы. Учёные предполагают, что инфекция носит летальный характер, таким образом сильно влияя на численность промыслового вида крабов-стригунов», – сообщается на сайте министерства.
