🇹🇲 Талибы и Туркменистан прорабатывают проект ж/д ТАТ

Аббревиатура расшифровывается как "Туркменистан - Афганистан - Таджикистан". Как сообщил Бахт ар-Рахман Шарафат, глава ж/д управления "Талибана"*, стороны договорились в ближайшее время продлить полотно от района Андхой в провинции Фарьяб до г. Шибарган, центра провинции Джаузджан. После этого его соединят с логистические узлом в г. Мазари-Шариф, центре провинции Балх.

🔸Идея проекта ТАТ появилась в Таджикистане в рамках стратегии по преодолению узбекской ж/д "блокады". Меморандум по проекту был подписан президентами 3 стран в Ашхабаде в 2013 году. Протяженность ж/д должна была составить около 200 км, но в 2018 году Ташкент восстановил разобранные участки путей, сняв "блокаду". При этом Ашхабаду и Кабулу еще нужно разобраться с участком ж/д "Акина - Андхой", на котором обнаружились проблемы

Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today." At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. The S&P 500 fell 1.3% to 4,204.36, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.7% to 32,943.33. The Dow posted a fifth straight weekly loss — its longest losing streak since 2019. The Nasdaq Composite tumbled 2.2% to 12,843.81. Though all three indexes opened in the green, stocks took a turn after a new report showed U.S. consumer sentiment deteriorated more than expected in early March as consumers' inflation expectations soared to the highest since 1981. He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea.
