دکتر نازمحمد اونق، مدیر گروه تخصصی جامعه‌شناسی مصائب و بلایای طبیعی انجمن جامعه‌شناسی ایران است و پیش از این دبیر دفتر انجمن جامعه‌شناسی ایران در بجنورد بوده است. او دارای دکتری جامعه‌شناسی توسعه و عضو هیئت‌علمی گروه جامعه‌شناسی دانشگاه پیام نور در مرکز بجنورد است.
دکتر اونق دارای تجربه‌ی مشارکت میدانی داوطلبانه در تعدادی از مخاطرات کشور از قبیل سیل و زلزله است. -
