مسابقه کتابخوانی "مردانی حوالی خورشید" از سوی دبیرخانه جشنواره بین المللی سیمرغ برگزار می‌شود و مهلت شرکت در آن از ۲۵ مهرماه تا ۱۵ آبان ماه است. در حال حاضر نیازی به ثبت نام نبوده و آزمون به صورت مجازی در تاریخ 20 آبان ماه در سایت festivalf.ir برگزار می شود و به ده نفر از برگزیدگان کارت هدیه ۵,۰۰۰,۰۰۰ ریالی و به چهل نفر، چهل بسته فرهنگی اهدا خواهد شد.
