Возгорание случилось 18 февраля во время ремонта оборудования, что привело к непредвиденному выбросу смеси газа, нефти и воды, а затем к пожару. Пострадали 21-летний Мухамед-Башир К. и 46-летний Эурабек С., которые были госпитализированы с ожогами и находятся в медикаментозном сне.
К настоящему моменту возгорание ликвидировано. Однако работы на 23 скважинах приостановлены.
