Чемпионат Восточного военного округа по прикладному спорту среди военнослужащих открыли на Сахалине. Церемонию провели в тренировочной арене "Кристалл". Участие в соревнованиях примут почти 200 контрактников, в том числе, ветеранов СВО. Кроме островных бойцов, состязаться будут гости из республики Бурятия, Забайкальского, Камчатского, Приморского краев и еще 7 регионов страны. Впереди у спортсменов лыжные гонки на 3, 5, и 10 километров, биатлонная эстафета и биатлонные гонки в составе патруля из трех человек, заплывы в бассейне на дистанцию 100, 200 и 300 метров и стрельба из боевого пистолета Макарова на дистанцию 25 метров. Соревнования среди военных спортсменов пройдут с 6-12 февраля.

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government. Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. Individual messages can be fully encrypted. But the user has to turn on that function. It's not automatic, as it is on Signal and WhatsApp.
