Губернатор региона Александр Соколов заявил, что в этом году правительство займется «вопросами пространственного развития Кировской области».
По его словам, оно уже начало заниматься развитием «большой агломерации, в которую входит Кирова, Кирово-Чепецк, Слободской, а также Кирово-Чепецкий и Слободской районы»:
- Мы определили стратегические проекты: тоннель под Транссибом в Кирове, объездная дорога, которая соединит Кирово-Чепецк и Слободской, кампус мирового уровня, дноуглубление Вятки и другие. Но это будет не единственная агломерация в нашей области. Необходимо приступить к созданию межмуниципальных программ развития Омутнинской, Вятскополянской и Котельничской агломераций, - сказал он.
