Житель Кунцево содержал крупную кошку без необходимых документов, выгуливал её без намордника и, по словам специалистов, подвергал опасности как себя, так и окружающих. К тому же у животного неоднократно случались приступы эпилепсии.
Суд признал содержание пумы незаконным и постановил передать её в Московский зоопарк. Решение исполнили 6 марта 2025 года при участии сотрудников зоопарка, полиции, судебных приставов и специалистов природоохранных служб. Теперь хищник находится в Московском зоопарке, где ему обеспечат надлежащий уход.
Сейчас Геркулес проходит карантин, а ветеринары внимательно следят за его состоянием. Специалисты зоопарка отмечают, что сделают всё возможное, чтобы создать комфортные условия для хищника и обеспечить ему необходимое лечение.
