The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been a driving force in markets for the past few weeks. Founder Pavel Durov says tech is meant to set you free Artem Kliuchnikov and his family fled Ukraine just days before the Russian invasion. Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried. On Feb. 27, however, he admitted from his Russian-language account that "Telegram channels are increasingly becoming a source of unverified information related to Ukrainian events."
