الله متعال اساسا انسان را برای عبادت آفریده: وما خلقت الجن والإنس إلا ليعبدون/انس و جن را تنها برای عبادت آفریدم و در روز قیامت هم از ما در همین باره سوال می‌پرسد { إِنَّهُۥ يَبۡدَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ لِيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۚ } يونس:٤ اوست که آفرینش را آغاز می‌کند، آنگاه [پس از مرگ] آن را بازمی‌گردانَد تا کسانی را که ایمان آورده‌اند و کارهای شایسته کرده‌اند، به عدالت پاداش دهد. و آیات زیاد دیگری که در این باره است.
