Он был посмертно награжден Орденом Мужества, согласно имеющейся информации от его жены и окружения.
Примечателен тот факт, что перечень лиц, которые могут быть похоронен на Федеральном военном мемориальном кладбище, весьма невелик и достаточно строг.
