استقبل رئيس ائتلاف دولة القانون السيد نوري المالكي بمكتبه مساء اليوم المبعوث الخاص للرئيس الروسي إلى الشرق الأوسط ودول أفريقيا، وكيل وزارة الخارجية الروسية ميخائيل بوغدانوف والوفد المرافق له .
وفي مستهل اللقاء نقل السيد بوغدانوف تحيات الرئيس فلاديمير بوتين والقيادة الروسية إلى السيد نوري المالكي ، ورغبة روسيا الاتحادية في تعزيز التعاون الثنائي في مختلف المجالات .
واكد السيد رئيس ائتلاف دولة القانون حرص العراق على توطيد العلاقات وتوسيع آفاق الشراكة مع روسيا الاتحادية بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة ، مشيرا الى ان الاوضاع في المنطقة تشهد تحديات كبيرة يستدعي العمل والتعاون من اجل منع اشتعال ازمات جديدة ، مجددا موقف العراق الثابت تجاه القضية الفلسطينية، ووقوفه إلى جانب الشعب الفلسطيني في تحقيق تطلّعاته ونيل كامل حقوقه المشروعة .
بدوره أعرب بغدانوف عن تقدير بلاده للعلاقات الوطيدة التي تجمع البلدين الصديقين، مؤكداً دعم روسيا الاتحادية لجهود العراق في ترسيخ أمنه واستقراره، وسعيه لارسياء الاستقرار في المنطقة.
