💬 Dear colleagues,
The direct negotiations with the Ukrainian side, held on the initiative of the President of Russia, have just concluded.
In general, we are satisfied with the outcome and are ready to continue contacts.
This is what we agreed on:
1. In the coming days there will be a large-scale exchange of prisoners of war — 1,000 for 1,000.
2. The Ukrainian side has requested direct talks between the heads of state. We have taken notice of this request.
3. We agreed that each side would present its vision of a possible future ceasefire. This will be outlined in detail.
Once this vision has been presented, we believe it would be appropriate, as also agreed, to continue our negotiations.

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." "This time we received the coordinates of enemy vehicles marked 'V' in Kyiv region," it added. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been a driving force in markets for the past few weeks. "The argument from Telegram is, 'You should trust us because we tell you that we're trustworthy,'" Maréchal said. "It's really in the eye of the beholder whether that's something you want to buy into." For example, WhatsApp restricted the number of times a user could forward something, and developed automated systems that detect and flag objectionable content.
