روز دوشنبه شرکت بریتانیایی امنیت دریایی امبری و همچنین سازمان عملیات بازرگانی دریایی بریتانیا (یوکی‌ام‌تی‌او) از اصابت موشک به یک کشتی باری هنگام عبور از تنگه باب‌المندب خبر دادهند.
بنابر گزارش‌ها، این کشتی فله‌بر متعلق به یونان و دارای پرچم جزایر مارشال بود. خبرگزاری رویترز به نقل از امبری مقصد این کشتی را بندر خمینی در جنوب ایران گزارش کرده است.
درپی اعلام این خبر، یحیی سریع، سخنگوی حوثی‌ها گفت که نیروهای حوثی «ناو آمریکایی استار آیریس را در دریای سرخ با تعدادی موشک مناسب مورد هدف قرار دادند و این حملات دقیق و مستقیم بود.»
بنابر گزارش‌ها، مالک و اپراتور این کشتی به طور منظم محموله‌هایی را بین ایران و سایر نقاط جابه‌جا کرده‌اند اما گروه مالک این کشتی در شاخص بورس آمریکا قرار دارد و این موضوع می‌تواند «دلیل احتمالی حمله» باشد. @VahidHeadline رویترز به نقل از یک مقام امنیتی منطقه‌ای گفت: «به نظر می‌رسد حوثی‌ها با این حمله می‌خواستند نشان دهند که حکومت ایران این گروه را کنترل نمی‌کند و خودشان مستقلاً عمل می‌کنند و از قبل تهران را از این حمله مطلع کرده بودند.» @VahidHeadline

The regulator said it had received information that messages containing stock tips and other investment advice with respect to selected listed companies are being widely circulated through websites and social media platforms such as Telegram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers.
