Сами жители комплекса гуляли на обычных: песочница, скамейки, где для детей установлен более привычный формат игровых зон. Экзотические площадки быстро приедаются и дети ходят играть на классические детские площадки...
P.S. А ещё в усушечных трещинах (которые по ГОСТУ допускаются до 8 мм для бревен) прекрасно застревают детские пальцы и портится одежда - личный опыт.
