🔴اثر سیاهی لشکر! در چندین گروه مشاهده شده که افراد فعال، معمولاً در گروههایی که تعداد کمی عضو واقعی و تعداد زیادی سیاهی لشکر دارند فعالتر از گروههایی هستند که تعداد بیشتری عضو واقعی دارند اما از گروههای دارای سیاهی لشکر تعداد اعضایشان کمتر است!
🔸تصویر: پیامی در یک کانال خصوصی با یک عضو قرار داده شده، سپس در ده گروه که جمع اعضایشان از ۱۰ هزار نفر بیشتر است فوروارد شده بازدید کل پس از چندین روز ۵۱ بوده.
عواملی در کم یا زیاد بودن چنین بازدیدی نقش دارند اما غالباً بازدید در گروههای پرجمعیت بسیار کمتر از انتظار اغلب کاربران است. تعداد بازدید هر مطلب در گروه ۲۰۰۰ نفری معمولاً چندان بیش از تعداد بازدید در یک گروه ۲۰۰ نفری نیست. (قابل توجیه هم هست در این متن جا نمی‌شود) این نتیجه در امتحانهای مکرر و در شرایط مختلف به دست آمده.
این پدیده سبب شده است فعالیت زیاد برخی از افراد مطلع و متخصص در گروههای تلگرامی در زمینۀ آگاهی‌بخشی در موضوعات مختلف از جمله کووید-۱۹ به نسبت زمانی که صرف می‌شود بسیار کم‌نتیجه باشد.

In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. DFR Lab sent the image through Microsoft Azure's Face Verification program and found that it was "highly unlikely" that the person in the second photo was the same as the first woman. The fact-checker Logically AI also found the claim to be false. The woman, Olena Kurilo, was also captured in a video after the airstrike and shown to have the injuries. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
