На производственной площадке Южного центра судостроения и судоремонта ОСК формируются корпуса земснарядов со сменными фрезерным и роторно-ковшовым рыхлителями для углубления судоходных рек. При строительстве флота по проекту 93.159А преимущественно используется отечественное судовое комплектующее оборудование.
Особенность проекта в следующем: на судах имеются два вида рыхлителей, фрезерный и роторно-ковшовой, которые меняются в зависимости от типа грунта.
