“ In the absence of a fundamental reconsideration of the fanatical idea of progress and the cult of technology, multipolarity will — if it doesn’t just turn into a fiction — be constructed on the already shaky ground of the unipolar hardware of the Gestell.

What is needed is not simply an idea and ideology, but an extremely fundamental, alternative way of being. At the same time, the trap of a plurality of technology ought to be avoided, because if we shift the struggle for multipolarity onto the level of hardware, then we’ll only be creating hardware 2.0 and 3.0 vs. hardware 1.0, and this will make no difference to the Gestell — such would be only an internal conflict between hardwares within the Enframing. The question needs to be posed not as software vs. software or hardware 2.0 vs. hardware 1.0, but as hardware vs. something Other.

Insofar as the modern West is the embodiment of its own nature being turned inside out, an Anti-Europe in relation to the Europe of Antiquity and Rome and an anti-human element on the level of transhumanism and progressive values, multipolarity is paradoxically called upon to liberate the West and Europe from themselves, to return European man to himself and his local worlds and religions.

This gesture is addressed to the European and American Heartlands, to the lands where their sleeping hearts lie. Multipolarity, called upon to put an end to global hegemony as expressed in, among other things, culture and technology, must sweep away Western hardware and free the Dasein of middle America and the Europe of a hundred flags from under the rubble and microchips.

Alfred Mahan’s doctrine of Sea Power states that “the defense of your own coasts begins at the opponent’s coasts.” Applying this thesis, we can point out that real sanctions or real damage to the West will begin to be dealt by striking DNS root servers, critical Internet infrastructure, satellites and data cables, and the headquarters of Silicon Valley.

Disconnecting the world from the unipolar matrix is the main imperative. ”

Askr Svarte explores the philosophical concept of the Last God in Heidegger’s work, which is connected to the authentic appropriation of being by humans in the world, and how language plays a crucial role in expressing this truth.

« A brush with life.

With the help of his local guide, the French anthropologist Pierre Clastres is studying the most remote tribes along the tributaries of the Amazon.

The two of them are making a boat trip downstream and back.

The river divides tribes which are actively at war with each other. Some of them have never seen other people.

On the way back, Clastres and his guide make a stop and are hosted by one of the riverside tribes. From another tribe they’ve brought a batch of a sacred root which has psychotropic effects and is used in local rituals.

Rejoicing at this encounter, the tribe decides to arrange a festival. Another tribe, fully armed, comes from out of the depths of the jungle to join.

After a whole day of ceremonies, scenes, and rituals, after sunset and by firelight, the men of the two tribes consume the root and arrange a ritual dance with their spears, bows, and knives.

Somewhere off to the side, Pierre Clastres is sitting and watching. This is in the 1960s. There are no satellite phones, no telegraph, and no roads. For hundreds of kilometers in every direction, there is only jungle and warring tribes. There is frankly nowhere to run, and in this very moment Clastres is absolutely cut off, excluded from, and lost to his own civilization. No one in the world even knows where he is and whether he is alive.

He is in the midst of an archaic ritual, an ecstatic dance of warriors, which has been performed for thousands of years on these shores under the oversight of local spirits.

An absolutely modern person has come into contact with the bare nerve of authentic life and under the most direct threat of death.

It is difficult to imagine the existential rapture and horror that Pierre experienced that night.

This scene from his book The Archaeology of Violence is one of the strongest images and contrasts in anthropology.

In relation to our own tradition, we should be not only our own “Pierre Clastres”, but also boldly tear off our shirts, sink our teeth into the root of the spirits, and throw ourselves into the barbaric dance of spears to the music of blades. So that the river’s water might wash away the “traces of modern man” from the banks of our consciousness. »

Tom Roswell (STJ) thinks that Gods are abstract powers and myth are events that never happened.

Both did a lot to popularize Paganism, but turned put to be atheists. Keep this in mind.

“A much more radical initiatic test rises with awakening to and genuinely understanding the whole preceding path of history, as well as everything that is to come, not at the end of the eschatological period, but already at the beginning, i.e., when man recognizes his ontological and existential situation by already here and now looking at the closing sunset and the last burgundy-violet shades of the sky melting away before our very eyes.

The hardest and rawest lot falls not to those who awaken and know themselves at the very end of the cycle, but to those who awaken and become witnesses to the sunset, to the decline of the sun that is predetermined by the due and whose trajectory was already outlined back in the era when the sun was still at its zenith of glory and might, when, so it seemed, tradition appeared to be undeniably eternal in its triumph and nothing suggested the contrary. In this lies the bitter knowledge of allotted fate.

In this point lies the fundamental fork in the road of assessing the contemporary moment in terms of Modernity and Postmodernity, as well as in terms of Tradition and Traditionalism. Should we try to catch up with the already setting sun, redraw the shades of the sky from memory, and imitate its light with lamps and gadget screens? Or should we accept the primacy of the night and its own rays along the path of transgressive (post-)Traditionalism? Following through the night, which is the apophatic sun, does not mean being in solidarity with the contemporary era in all of its aspects, but rather finding another dimension of tradition in the landscapes of the future that isn’t ours.”
