К сожалению, сильная простуда не дала мне возможность участвовать во всех мероприятиях. Но, несмотря на температуру, пришел и поклонился подвигу новгородцев и всех советских воинов, которые сложили головы за освобождение Новгорода от немецко-фашистских войск. Возложил цветы к стеле «Город воинской славы», к мемориалу, в открытии которого я участвовал в прошлом году, мемориалу в память героев земли Новгородской, тех, кто уходил и отдавал свои жизни за славу моей Родины.
