Центральный банк России представил список из 25 достопримечательностей, которые рассматриваются для изображения на новой тысячерублевой банкноте. В числе претендентов оказался и памятник Салавату Юлаеву в Уфе — символ Башкортостана. В список также вошли такие объекты, как Дворец земледельцев в Казани, Монумент Славы в Самаре, Музей истории Оренбурга, Музей народного творчества в Пензе и другие.
Кто именно станет “лицом” новой купюры, решит народное голосование. Однако сроки его проведения пока не объявлены.
