Законопроект направлен на гармонизацию таможенного законодательства с нормами права Евразийского экономического союза.
Новелла упростит компаниям-резидентам особых экономических зон, которые используют налоговые и таможенные льготы, порядок прохождения таможенных процедур, если товары и изделия ввозятся из-за границы для строительства, ремонта или технического обслуживания различного оборудования, а также для проведения научных исследований.
