Владимир Путин принял участие в торжественных мероприятиях в режиме видеоконференции. Он поздравил присутствующих со значимыми событиями и принес благодарность всем тем, кто участвовал в создании высокотехнологичных, уникальных судов.
Президент отметил, что системная работа по переоснащению и пополнению отечественного ледокольного флота способствует укреплению статуса России как великой арктической державы. Он подчеркнул важность соблюдения сроков в строительстве новых судов.
Отметим, атомные ледоколы «Якутия» и «Урал» были созданы в рамках проекта 22220, предполагающего строительство 5 самых больших и самых мощных в мире судов. «Арктика» и «Сибирь» уже вошли в состав атомного флота России и работают в высоких широтах. Передача «Урала» заказчику запланирована на конец нынешнего года, «Якутии» - на 2024 год. Последний из серии атомный ледокол «Чукотка» должен отправиться в распоряжение флота в 2026 году.
