После облучения сравнивали состояние клеток предварительно обработанных растительными экстрактами (экстракты воздушных частей Cistus incanus; цветов Trifolium pratense; и фермента Alteromonas) и не защищенных. Состояние клеток после облучения 5G интерпретируется как изменения в гомеостазе кожи, соответствующие состоянию травмы и реакции на повреждение, следовательно облучения 5G приводит к преждевременному старению кожи и раннему проявлению признаков старения (морщины, пигментация). Выявлен потенциал ботанических экстрактов как активных ингредиентов в рецептурах для защиты кожи от излучения 5G. Лучшие результаты получены с экстрактом Cistus incanus. Специфика эффекта еще не ясна и может варьироваться от экстракта к экстракту
