Рады поделиться с вами, что сегодня состоялась первая беседа с прихожанами нашего собора Покрова Пресвятой Богородицы г. Минеральных Вод. Отец Иоанн Копач говорил о важности духовного развития и укрепления веры в современном мире. Обсудили предстоящие события и планы прихода. Было очень приятно видеть столько заинтересованных лиц и чувствовать поддержку прихожан. Дай Бог, чтоб такие встречи стали доброй традицией. Подобные собрания способствуют укреплению духовных связей. Общение с наставником всегда приносит душевное утешение.

Telegram was co-founded by Pavel and Nikolai Durov, the brothers who had previously created VKontakte. VK is Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, a social network used for public and private messaging, audio and video sharing as well as online gaming. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. But because group chats and the channel features are not end-to-end encrypted, Galperin said user privacy is potentially under threat. If you initiate a Secret Chat, however, then these communications are end-to-end encrypted and are tied to the device you are using. That means it’s less convenient to access them across multiple platforms, but you are at far less risk of snooping. Back in the day, Secret Chats received some praise from the EFF, but the fact that its standard system isn’t as secure earned it some criticism. If you’re looking for something that is considered more reliable by privacy advocates, then Signal is the EFF’s preferred platform, although that too is not without some caveats. In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation."
