В рамках фестиваля Рихарда Вагнера, который продлится в Большом в течение всего театрального сезона, 1 и 2 февраля в Большом состоялись показы оперы «Тангейзер».
Главные партии исполнили ведущие солисты Мариинского театра Глеб Перязев (Герман), Михаил Векуа, Сергей Скороходов (Тангейзер), Ирина Чурилова (Елизавета), Татьяна Павловская (Венера), Владислав Куприянов, Павел Янковский (Вольфрам фон Эшенбах), Роман Арндт (Вальтер фон дер Фогельвейде), Сергей Романов (Битерольф), Михаил Макаров (Генрих Шрайбер), Евгений Чернядьев (Райнмар фон Цветер), Адриан Зыков (Мальчик).
За дирижёрским пультом — маэстро Валерий Гергиев.
