Управление по делам гражданства и миграции к середине декабря выдало 76 распоряжений о выезде гражданам России, которые не выполнили требования закона об иммиграции. На данный момент их уже 79, сообщила глава УДГМ Майра Розе.
Также она рассказала, что на экзамен по латышскому языку в новую волну записались пока только около 1,5 т. человек, хотя предположительно таких должно быть около 4000. Речь идет о тех россиянах, которые получили ВНЖ в Латвии по нормам закона, действовавшего до 2003 года.
С 3 февраля по 31 марта 2025 года они должны зарегистрироваться для сдачи экзамена по латышскому, чтобы запросить статус постоянного жителя ЕС.

The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. "And that set off kind of a battle royale for control of the platform that Durov eventually lost," said Nathalie Maréchal of the Washington advocacy group Ranking Digital Rights.
