«Киссинджер призвал принять Украину в НАТО. Ему, конечно, через 10 дней 100 лет, и он ещё с Брежневым встречался. Однако тут он совсем неправ. Он назвал главной угрозой человечеству конфликт США и Китая.
Я всегда считал, что для верной оценки ситуации важен учёт не гипотетической, а прямой и явной угрозы. Представим, что Украину приняли в Североатлантический альянс нынешние скудоумные руководители:
1) НАТО уже ведёт гибридную войну с нашей страной; 2) украинский националистический режим не откажется от попыток вернуть утраченные территории; 3) нам придётся жёстко на это отвечать всеми возможными средствами и… 4) вот вам ст. 5 Вашингтонского договора.
Тонкие рассуждения о предотвращении экзистенциальных угроз не работают в ходе кровавых конфликтов. Это должно быть ясно даже тем, кто подошёл к вековому юбилею».
