Canoo всё — банкрот

Американский электромобильный стартап уже подал соответствующее заявление.

Компания была создана в 2017 г., и бросилась в бой с единственной платформой: на ее базе успели сделать минивэн, фургон и пикап.

Однако на действительно массовое производство Canoo так и не вышел — не помогли даже крупные контракты с торговым гигантом Walmart, Минобороны, Почтовой службой и самой NASA.

Бренд рассчитывал на помощь от Минэнерго, но получили отказ. Зарубежные инвесторы интереса тоже не проявили. Так что RIP.

Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. Recently, Durav wrote on his Telegram channel that users' right to privacy, in light of the war in Ukraine, is "sacred, now more than ever." He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea. "Someone posing as a Ukrainian citizen just joins the chat and starts spreading misinformation, or gathers data, like the location of shelters," Tsekhanovska said, noting how false messages have urged Ukrainians to turn off their phones at a specific time of night, citing cybersafety. Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram.
