The discussion was attended by 21 experts from Russia and Georgia, including MGIMO University, RANEPA Presidential Academy, Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University, Institute of Asian and African Studies of Moscow State University, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, and the Higher School of Economics.
The discussion turned out to be very interesting. It covered not the situation in Syria only but also its impact on Arab countries, Afghanistan, Israel, Iran, the post-Soviet countries of South Caucasus and Central Asia, Türkiye, as well as migration policy and certain subjects of the Russian Federation, such as Adygea.🇷🇺

And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations.
