🇷🇺On January 27, the Laboratory of Modern Central Asia and the Caucasus of the RAS Institute of Oriental Studies organized an international scientific seminar "The Situation in Syria and Its Influence on the Post-Soviet space."

The discussion was attended by 21 experts from Russia and Georgia, including MGIMO University, RANEPA Presidential Academy, Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University, Institute of Asian and African Studies of Moscow State University, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, and the Higher School of Economics.

The discussion turned out to be very interesting. It covered not the situation in Syria only but also its impact on Arab countries, Afghanistan, Israel, Iran, the post-Soviet countries of South Caucasus and Central Asia, Türkiye, as well as migration policy and certain subjects of the Russian Federation, such as Adygea.🇷🇺
