Каждый год в Германии проводится конкурс на самое популярное слово в молодежном сленге. Буквально вчера немецкое издательство Langenscheidt опубликовало топ-10 слов, претендующих на звание Jugendwort 2023 (молодежное слово).
➡️ Голосование проходит на этом сайте, а победителя объявят 22 октября.

⚪️Молодежные слова прошлых лет:
2022 - smash (mit jemandem etwas anfangen); 2021 - cringe (peinlich, zum Fremdschämen); 2020 - lost (ahnungslos, verwirrt); 2018 - Ehrenmann/Ehrenfrau (guter Mensch); 2017 - i bims (ich bin's) и др. Кстати, Yolo (you only live once, звучит песня моих любимых The Strokes) уже становилось словом года в 2012. Его опять включили в список 2023, любопытно.

⚪️На картинках можете увидеть кандидатов этого года вместе с объяснениями и примерами. Интересно, какое слово победит в этот раз? Лично мне нравится goofy.
И, конечно, вчерашняя новость успела породить очередные мемы, так что прикрепляю и их.

Stocks closed in the red Friday as investors weighed upbeat remarks from Russian President Vladimir Putin about diplomatic discussions with Ukraine against a weaker-than-expected print on U.S. consumer sentiment. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. For example, WhatsApp restricted the number of times a user could forward something, and developed automated systems that detect and flag objectionable content. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences.
