Каждый год в Германии проводится конкурс на самое популярное слово в молодежном сленге. Буквально вчера немецкое издательство Langenscheidt опубликовало топ-10 слов, претендующих на звание Jugendwort 2023 (молодежное слово).
➡️ Голосование проходит на этом сайте, а победителя объявят 22 октября.

⚪️Молодежные слова прошлых лет:
2022 - smash (mit jemandem etwas anfangen); 2021 - cringe (peinlich, zum Fremdschämen); 2020 - lost (ahnungslos, verwirrt); 2018 - Ehrenmann/Ehrenfrau (guter Mensch); 2017 - i bims (ich bin's) и др. Кстати, Yolo (you only live once, звучит песня моих любимых The Strokes) уже становилось словом года в 2012. Его опять включили в список 2023, любопытно.

⚪️На картинках можете увидеть кандидатов этого года вместе с объяснениями и примерами. Интересно, какое слово победит в этот раз? Лично мне нравится goofy.
И, конечно, вчерашняя новость успела породить очередные мемы, так что прикрепляю и их.

Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. "Someone posing as a Ukrainian citizen just joins the chat and starts spreading misinformation, or gathers data, like the location of shelters," Tsekhanovska said, noting how false messages have urged Ukrainians to turn off their phones at a specific time of night, citing cybersafety.
