Является воспитанником тренеров Эдуарда Депеляна и Аслана Ахба. Рауль Кетия провел три боя и одержал во всех победу. Спортсмен выступал в весовой категории 50 кг среди спортсменов 2009-2008 годов рождения. Является воспитанном тренеров Эдгара Крия и Элизбара Джелогуа. К турниру спортсменов подготовил тренер Игорь Князев.
