🎉 Фестиваль олимпиады «Ближе к Дальнему» состоялся!

19 ноября на 5 этаже корпуса B Дальневосточного федерального университета прошёл яркий фестиваль, который дал старт метапредметной олимпиаде «Ближе к Дальнему». Гости мероприятия окунулись в атмосферу знаний, творчества и вдохновения, наслаждаясь разнообразными активностями и заданиями.

Гости мероприятия смогли поучаствовать в квизе на знание Дальнего Востока, поучаствовать в серии творческих мастер-классов, отправить открытку своим близким и друзьям и насладиться концертом от Творческого центра ДВФУ!

Спасибо всем, кто был с нами в этот день! Желаем всем участникам олимпиады успехов в прохождении туров и покорения новых вершин! 🌟

Russian President Vladimir Putin launched Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the early-morning hours of February 24, targeting several key cities with military strikes. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. And indeed, volatility has been a hallmark of the market environment so far in 2022, with the S&P 500 still down more than 10% for the year-to-date after first sliding into a correction last month. The CBOE Volatility Index, or VIX, has held at a lofty level of more than 30. "Like the bombing of the maternity ward in Mariupol," he said, "Even before it hits the news, you see the videos on the Telegram channels."
