Падение было больше прогнозируемого. Так, эксперты отрасли предполагали, что количество нефти сократится только на 1,43 млн б, при этом бензина, напротив, станет больше на 200 тыс. б. Дистиллятам прочили падение только на 1,19 млн б.
Сокращение запасов топлива никак не отвечает опасением экспертов по поводу сокращение потребления топлива Соединенными Штатами.
Между тем именно вялая рецессия американской экономики является тем фактором, который аналитики приводят в качестве одной из причин снижения стоимости нефти.
