По предварительным данным, нанесенный майнерами ущерб компании — более 24 миллионов рублей.
Энергетики отключили оборудование для производства криптовалюты. Контейнеры демонтировали. Подозреваемые задержаны, материалы предоставлены в СУ СК России по Новгородской области. Возбуждено уголовное дело.
Напомним, ущерб Группы «Россети» от «черных» майнеров превысил 1,3 млрд рублей в 2024 году.
Пресечено 130 случаев незаконного присоединения к сетям и неучтенного потребления. Материалы переданы в правоохранительные органы. Возбуждено более 40 уголовных дел по статьям УК РФ, предусматривающим наказание с реальным сроком лишения свободы.
Майнинговые фермы создают риски перегрузки сетей. Это одна из основных причин низкого напряжения, что может приводить к порче оборудования и бытовой техники.

The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. Overall, extreme levels of fear in the market seems to have morphed into something more resembling concern. For example, the Cboe Volatility Index fell from its 2022 peak of 36, which it hit Monday, to around 30 on Friday, a sign of easing tensions. Meanwhile, while the price of WTI crude oil slipped from Sunday’s multiyear high $130 of barrel to $109 a pop. Markets have been expecting heavy restrictions on Russian oil, some of which the U.S. has already imposed, and that would reduce the global supply and bring about even more burdensome inflation.
