Какие-то сюжетные линии были интереснее, какие-то были совсем мимо. Режиссер совершенно не думает об аудитории, а говорит о чем-то своем, о наболевшем. Видимо, о Римской империи Коппола думает часто.
Очевидно несовпадение произведения и эпохи. Режиссер на серьезных щах говорит об утопическом будущем, мыслит глобально, рассуждает о непростых отношениях гения с посредственностями. Это претенциозный олдскул, но искренний.
