⬅️ این موزه در ۲۷ دی ماه ۱۳۹۸ در شهر تاریخی ایذه با حضور مسئولان کشوری و استانی افتتاح شد؛ مساحت کل موزه ۳۷۰۰ مترمربع و فضای نمایشی آن ۱۰۰۰ متر مربع و در یک طبقه ایجاد شده است. این موزه، دارای هفت تالار شامل آثار و اشیاء تاریخی از دوران پارینه‌سنگی جدید در حدود چهل‌هزارسال پیش تا دوران معاصر است و باتوجه به‌ طراحی چیدمان و تعداد آثار تاریخی موجود، به عنوان بزرگترین موزه جنوب‌غربی کشور محسوب می‌شود. موزه باستان‌شناسی ایذه در محوطه اداره میراث‌فرهنگی، گردشگری و صنایع‌دستی شهرستان ایذه (ساختمان سابق جهاد کشاورزی) در خیابان شهیدمطهری واقع شده است.
