There are several types of purple mushrooms, including:

Cortinarius iodes: Also known as the spotted cort or viscid violet cort, this mushroom has a small, slimy purple cap that develops yellowish spots and streaks as it matures. The gills change color from violet to rusty or grayish brown. It's not recommended for consumption because of a similar non-edible species.

Cortinarius violaceus: Also known as the violet webcap or violet cort, this mushroom is entirely violet, purple, or blue. It can have a cap diameter of up to 15 cm (6 in) and gills underneath. It's native to the Northern Hemisphere and can be found in limestone and chalk-rich woodland habitats.

Amethyst deceiver: This mushroom is edible, but not particularly notable.

Telegram | DID YOU KNOW?

Date: |

Telegram was founded in 2013 by two Russian brothers, Nikolai and Pavel Durov. The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram. In addition, Telegram now supports the use of third-party streaming tools like OBS Studio and XSplit to broadcast live video, allowing users to add overlays and multi-screen layouts for a more professional look. Sebi said data, emails and other documents are being retrieved from the seized devices and detailed investigation is in progress. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp.
