За прошедший год завод выпустил 528 вагонов электропоездов, что на 23% превышает показатель 2022 года. В это число входят 178 вагонов новейшей модели ЭП2ДМ, производство которой началось в 2023 году. ЭП2ДМ уже перевозят пассажиров в Московском регионе (МЦД-4) и на Свердловской, Западно-Сибирской, Северной, Куйбышевской, Юго-Восточной железных дорогах.
Также в 2023 году ДМЗ нарастил производство модели ЭП3Д – реализовано 116 вагонов (на 50% больше, чем годом ранее). Еще одно направление деятельности завода – изготовление и ремонт колесных пар для вагонов метро. Выпуск колесных пар нового формирования вырос на 11% и составил 1791 единицу в год. 1928 колесных пар было отгружено заказчикам после ремонта, это на 61% больше, чем в 2023 году.
ДМЗ является крупнейшим работодателем и налогоплательщиком Орехово-Зуевского городского округа, здесь трудятся около 3000 человек. Предприятие выпускает 70% всех электропоездов, производимых в России.

"This war in Ukraine is going to give the Fed the ammunition, the cover that it needs, to not raise interest rates too quickly. And I think Jay Powell is a very tepid sort of inflation fighter and he's not going to do as much as he needs to do to get that under control. And this seems like an excuse to kick the can further down the road still and not do too much too soon."
