По просочившийся информации в карельские медиа, причиной пожара могла стать детонация древесной пыли. Свидетели рассказывают о взрыве, произошедшем на комбинате ночью, после которого предприятие оказалось охвачено огнём.
Напомним, ДОК "Калевала" получил в Минпромторге РФ статус приоритетного инвестиционного проекта в области освоения лесов. Здание предприятия частично разрушено, и когда комбинат возобновит производство, пока неизвестно.
Заметим, что это не первый пожар, который произошёл на предприятии. А в начале апреля на комбинате погиб рабочий.
