К своему годовасию Марта стала достаточно крупной, но так и осталась не агрессивной. Дело в том, что ячиха выросла буквально на руках у сотрудников парка. После родов у ее матери - ячихи Юленьки не появилось молоко, поэтому вся забота о ее кормлении легла на плечи участкового госинспектора природного парка Александра Михайлова, который заботливо ухаживал за животным, пока малышка не перестала нуждаться в молочном вскармливании.
