В 18 лет Таджима приняла ислам и стала носить хиджаб. В 2015 г. именно она разработала первую линейку хиджабов для Uniqlo. Они продавались в Малайзии, Индонезии и Сингапуре.

А вот в качестве модели Таджима не так давно снялась у палестино-корейского дизайнера Сары Мусы для ее коллекции платков, посвященных Палестине. Все платки были сшиты вручную на небольшой семейной фабрике в Турции, а выручка пойдет на гуманитарную помощь.
