Перед нами карабин СВТ образца 1940 года – самозарядный системы Токарева со штыком и оптическим (!) прицелом. Такой подарок получил от Тульского Оружейного завода легендарный военачальник Семен Михайлович Буденный в 1941 году. На прикладе – металлическая пластинка с надписью: «Маршалу С.М. Буденному от тульских оружейников».
Увидеть этот раритет и другие уникальные предметы можно на выставке к 80-летию Победы «Хранить вечно» в Тульском филиале ГИМ на ул. Металлистов, 10 — благодарим коллег за помощь в подготовке материала.

He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations.
