Литературно-мемориальный музей Арби Мамакаева основан в 1989 году как народный музей в селе Надтеречном Чеченской Республики. В девяти рабочих комнатах учреждения размещены более двух тысяч экспонатов, рассказывающих не только о поэте и его литературном наследии, но и об историческом прошлом — быте, культуре.
Музей представляет собой комплекс из реставрированного жилого дома конца ХIХ века, в котором родился и вырос Арби Мамакаев, хозяйственных построек, мемориального сада с деревьями, посаженными известными в республике писателями, учеными, деятелями культуры, общественными и государственными деятелями, бюста на мраморном постаменте на фоне стилизованной чеченской традиционной каменной башни.
