Эксплуатация «Корсаров» началась в первых числах февраля 2022 года. Тогда все они, естественно, работали только на маршруте №5. И почти все они выходили на линию со штатными черно-зелеными кожухами на тележках. Помимо технической защитной функции этот элемент конструкции придает «Корсару» стилистическую завершенность.

Однако довольно быстро выяснилось, что эксплуатировать вагоны лучше без кожухов. Впрочем, точная причина их снятия неизвестна. Судя по фотографиям, убирать кожухи начали с задних тележек, а затем полностью сняли их со всех «Корсаров».

Только в январе 2024 года на вагон №704 кожухи были установлены вновь, но ненадолго: испытания доработок на обоих маршрутах положительного результата не дали. Сейчас трамваи с кожухами встретить вне депо практически невозможно.

The fake Zelenskiy account reached 20,000 followers on Telegram before it was shut down, a remedial action that experts say is all too rare. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. That enables users to have much more control over how long people can access what you’re sending them. Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
